Weekend Tennis Roundup

Feliciano Lopez won the biggest title of his career on Sunday, saving a match point to defeat Marin Cilic, to claim Queen's Club trophy. (We caught the end of this 4-6, 7-6, (7-2), 7-6 (10-8) showdown and our palms were sweating! Lopez actually had a match point against Grigor Dimitrov in the 2014 final, but failed to convert.)

The handsome Spaniard will turn 36 in the fall, further proving men's tennis is an older man's sport!

Petra Kvitova beat the unseeded Ashleigh Barty of Australia, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, in the Aegon Classic final on Sunday to win her first title since her playing hand was injured in a bizarre knife attack in December. Most remarkable, however, is that this is only the two-time Wimbledon champion's second tournament since returning.

What a difference six months makes

Roger Federer reaffirmed himself as a favorite going into Wimbledon, killing 20-year-old Alexander
Zverev in 53 minutes of the Gerry Weber Open final on Sunday. It was the Swiss legend's ninth title in Halle, and his 92nd career title.

And finally, Anastasija Sevastova won her first WTA title since 2010 when she defeated Julia Goerges, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3, on Sunday in the championship match of the Mallorca Open in Spain. Damian thinks she was upset that she was no longer the Latvian "It" girl and decided she'd better do something before it was too late.
