Song of the Day: 'Girls Just Want to Have Fun' by Robert Hazard
In keeping with the gender-flip theme of yesterday's original version of "Mickey," here's Robert Hazard's first crack at his most lucrative composition, taken to the top of the charts around the globe by Cyndi Lauper a few years later. Hazard's "Escalator of Life" was an early MTV favorite of mine.
